The opportunity

We’re looking for up to two confident, organised and curious Sales Executives to join our growing Sales & Marketing team.

This is a front-facing, hands-on role. You’ll be the first point of contact for new prospects – picking up inbound leads, giving great demos, and guiding people through trials to becoming paying customers. You’ll also be expected to manage existing accounts, supporting renewals and identifying upsell opportunities. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success Director, and have real input on how we sell, how we onboard, and how we grow.

Most of your leads will be inbound, but you won’t be afraid to get on the phone, chase an opportunity, or explore new markets.

About you

You’re great at turning interest into action – taking leads through the sales journey and helping them become happy customers. You spot opportunities, ask good questions, and enjoy improving how we sell and support.

You’re organised, confident speaking to a range of people, and comfortable using tools like HubSpot to stay on top of your pipeline.

You’re also not afraid to suggest a better way of doing things – whether that’s in the sales process, free trial period, or how we handle feedback.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to inbound enquiries and nurturing leads from ‘interested’ through to ‘customer’
  • Delivering platform demos for a wide range of audiences, including public sector, consultancy and academia
  • Preparing proposals, handling contracts, and closing deals
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts – handling renewals, spotting upsell opportunities and supporting long-term relationships
  • Keeping opportunities moving – tracking activity, getting on the phones and logging everything in HubSpot
  • Helping manage our free trial process and supporting onboarding
  • Supporting and automating sales and CRM processes where possible
  • Acting as the key link between our customers and internal teams, including Data and Product
  • Capturing feedback and feature requests to support product and process development
  • Exploring new markets and improving how we engage them
  • Supporting the wider sales team and CEO

Skills and qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with CRM tools, ideally HubSpot (bonus points for automations or integrations)
  • Understanding of SaaS, data, or tech platforms and how to demo/sell them
  • A knack for building relationships and trust with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

This role is based in Leeds, it’s a collaborative role, therefore a minimum of 3 days per week in-person at our offices, working face to face with your colleagues.
