We are hiring for two Industry Analysts. 

These are full-time, permanent roles.   

Our RTICs are essential to our business and future growth, we are looking for; curious, engaged, bright individuals to join our team to; build, review, QA and update these. You will be working alongside our multi-specialist team of Entrepreneurs, Innovators, Web-Developers, Data Scientists, Software Developers and Marketeers.

We are based in Leeds and operate across the UK, working with a wide range of national and local government organisations and private companies. Our next stage of growth involves the development of a global product. 

About you:

You are capable, curious, ambitious and interested in helping us build the world’s best data products, measuring investment, innovation and the economic structures of our cities and towns, and tell stories to help our customers and generate interest in our products. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will conduct desk-based research on the emerging economy to identify new RTIC sectors and suggest improvements to current RTICs. 
  • You will apply this desk-based research when creating/updating our RTICs using our Platform. 
  • You will use our propriety platform to help deliver high value customer facing projects.  
  • You will support with quality assurance and maintenance of our RTICs. 
  • You will write blogs and thought pieces about our RTICs and the emerging economy in general. 
  • You will be part of our team collaborating to make the product better, shaping the questions we should answer, seeing the wider work the team are doing and its impact. 

Your Qualifications & Experience: 

  • An interest in politics, global trends, desk research, and the emerging economy. 
  • An organised and methodical approach to task completion including good planning, prioritisation, and time management skills. 
  • The ability to research and work independently with strong attention to detail and commitment to fact checking your own work. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a clear writing style. 
  • If you speak any foreign languages let us know! (desirable) 
  • You have experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) or other low code/no code analytics platform (desirable).

2nd stage – a task will be set involving your using our platform to create insight around a specific focus, you would return this ahead of interview – where the team would discuss your work with you. This would be an in-person meeting to ensure team fit.
