The opportunity

We’re looking for a confident and experienced Marketing Campaign Manager to join our growing Sales & Marketing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a hands-on role delivering end-to-end campaigns. You’ll take ownership of campaign planning, execution and optimisation across the full marketing mix – with a focus on paid, ABM, content and web.

You’ll work across public and private sector markets, helping us grow in the UK and beyond. You’ll also play a role in shaping go-to-market activity, refining our positioning, and bringing energy and integrity to everything we deliver.

This role does not currently include direct line management. But as the team grows, there will be opportunities to lead projects, take on more responsibility and help shape future roles in the team.

It’s ideal for someone who’s worked in a B2B agency or SaaS business, and is looking for more ownership of strategy, delivery and performance.

About you

You’re and experienced marketer who’s ready to get stuck in and make an impact. You take ownership of your work and enjoy getting things done. Perhaps you’re looking to take a step up in your career by having more end-to-end ownership of campaigns from strategy, implementation, review and reporting.

You’re curious, proactive and comfortable working on different projects. You ask clear questions and work well with others.

At The Data City, we work with complex data and emerging industries. We need someone who can explain what we do in a clear and simple way – someone who can speak directly to our customers and make the complicated feel easy to understand. You’re data literate, and comfortable not only understanding our data but also providing clear measurement of campaigns and performance.

You’re not afraid to challenge an idea or ask why something matters. And you’re always looking for a better, smarter way to do things.

You’ll thrive at The Data City if you align with our values:

  • Own it, share it, perfect it.
  • Take feedback seriously.
  • Show, don’t tell.
  • Work at pace.
  • Work as a team.
  • Be curious.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Plan and deliver full-funnel, multi-channel campaigns
  • Run, optimise and report on paid media campaigns across channels like LinkedIn and Google
  • Build campaign landing pages and contribute to website improvements
  • Create and edit marketing assets, sales decks and reports
  • Use audience insight and research to shape targeting and messaging
  • Supply lead lists and campaign support to the sales team
  • Support the development of our value proposition across markets
  • Contribute to content, social and reporting with the wider team
  • Brief and collaborate with freelancers, creatives and agencies
  • Play a key role in improving how we plan, deliver and measure marketing

Skills and qualifications

We know marketing looks different for everyone, and we’re open to people with a mix of experiences and specialisms. That said, the following would be beneficial for this role:

  • 3+ years in a marketing-focused role
  • Experience running B2B paid media campaigns
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and campaign messaging
  • Familiarity with ABM principles and execution
  • Experience working in a B2B agency or SaaS business
  • Confident working across teams and speaking to stakeholders directly
  • A strategic mindset and ability to think commercially
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience using HubSpot, Google Analytics, CMS tools like WordPress
  • A point of depth – your ‘T’ in content, digital, performance or research

What we will provide

  • A role in one of the UK’s most exciting data & economics scale-ups
  • Real responsibility, and space to shape your own work
  • Full access to the tools and support you need to do your best job
