The opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate, mid-weight Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Sales & Marketing team.
Reporting to our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering our marketing strategy through our core channels and suppliers. You will take responsibility for the activation of several key campaigns across a range of markets (including both public and private sector), and help feed into the company’s wider, long-term plans.
The focus will be on campaign delivery, exploring new markets, lead generation and account-based marketing, with the chance to expand into paid media, CRM, email and website management.
We’re a team of T-shaped marketers, broadly skilled with individual specialisms and focuses – like content, strategy or SEO. We’re looking for someone similar. You don’t need to be an expert in everything, just confident with the fundamentals and bringing something extra to the team.
About you
You’re a confident marketer who’s ready to get stuck in and make an impact. You take ownership of your work and enjoy getting things done.
You’re curious, proactive and comfortable working on different projects. You ask clear questions and work well with others.
At The Data City, we work with complex data and emerging industries. We need someone who can explain what we do in a clear and simple way – someone who can speak directly to our customers and make the complicated easy to understand.
We value people who take responsibility, share early and keep improving. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness and generate leads
- Developing campaign landing pages and supporting development of our website.
- Creating and editing marketing assets, sales decks and case studies
- Coordinating Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns for key segments and priority clients
- Researching new markets and sectors to support campaigns and sales
- Supplying lead lists to the sales team based on campaign and ICP goals
- Running basic paid ads and tracking campaign performance
- Working with our content team to contribute to blogs, reports, social media and other great content
- Collaborating with freelancers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality work
- Supporting the growth of our brand and expansion into new markets and territories
- Supporting the wider marketing team to deliver best-in-class activity and improve how we do things
